I am sorry not so sure the true English term for 马六甲龙舟锦标赛 but googled it- Malacca Dragon Boat Championships. Basically, it's a famous event on Bak Chang Season(Dumpling). It's fun! :D

I really felt pathetic of the whole scene where these chao ah beng Ah Long brutally treated the debtors like animal and put them inside "jail". Almost heart break each time reading this news.
I must agree the debtors have wrong at the beginning. They owe the sum of money for a reason. It was reported that they are owing only small amount of money like RM800. How if RM18,000? Must gantung sampai mati or kena tembak mati?
They had to survive with bread and plain water everyday.
This is the worst Ah Long I ever known. Most of the Ah Long I know are quite kind one. Where is the humanity?

Wow, time flies super fast, today 24/5/09 marks my first year of blogging.
Initially, I started blogging at uncle-michael.blogspot.com but deleted already. As usual, I always shift my blog from one to another even now too :) My intention was simple, I just want to find some place to jot down what I came across on my mind and what I learned. Each day I am learning a lot and from different perspective, so blog is a tool for me to write it down.
I am not much a personal blogger, I don't blog much what I ate just now or too emotional stuff. :D But then, I admit I was very aggressive but sooner, I learn to respect each other. Today, I have few great malay bloggers like life4hire, kisah beruang, knizam and more. At the same time, get to know lots of fantastic bloggers and they are real rock! I am happy to get their comments too.
Other than that, make money while blogging is absolutely fun. I couldn't believe I have earned nearly MYR 1.4k just by blogging. LoL, I must say you're not going to earn big bucks overnight but efforts and efforts put into making real money. Today, I bought one and only ring for my dearest. Not an expensive though but surely came from my heart.
Anyway, this happiness is not only for myself but everyone out there. I am sorry as I have no time to conduct a contest due to busyness. Hey guys! Sorry if lack of updates lately, pretty busy settling my varsity stuff. I have decided the road which I wish to 'travel' to.
I went to Bintang hypermarket to shop with mom. Guess what I saw? Heh! Shoes for dog?
At first I thought it was food for dog, when I looked closely, yes, shoes for dog. :D I never seen this before lol. Dogs today very lucky eh, treated like king and queen. Next time maybe got LV leather bag for them?
Perhaps lah.

Wordpress prepared lots of plugins for its users especially the common ones Recent Posts and comments plugins but not on Blogger.com. However, I am going to show you the easiest way to add the Recent posts and comments widget into your blog.
Firstly, go to Dashboard --> Layout. Then, click " Add a gadget ".
Secondly, choose RSS. I use RSS because it's faster and you do not need any plugin.
Now you got to configure the RSS URL, simply type in your own blog URL address.
Like this.
I typed my own blog URL and it will detect it as RSS.
Don't forget to change the Title to "recent posts" or anything you wish such as "older posts" etc. You can choose how many posts you wanna show, dates and authors.
Voila! Your Recent Posts widget is almost done in less than 3 minutes.
I am sure you manage to master these few steps. Now, recent comments is much easier.

Before my dear went to KL to have her training at the academy, I decided to have a small farewell for her. I know she just wish to spend some time with me. :)
We had our dinner at Sibaraku with Japanese cuisine buffet. We tried before Chinese and Korean but not Japanese. So, we gave a try. The price is RM25/pax so I would advise you to bring fat fellas there to eat more and more and kaw kaw one. :P
There is teppanyaki. You can order anything in the menu list. Just let them know what you want. lol don't try the omelette.
Besides that, of course there are other foods. Needless to say, lots of different sushi were served there for you. I didn't take much though.

There is one chocolate fountain for you to do Coco bread for yourself. There are fruits too.
After makan, of course must take some desserts. I somehow think that only few type of desserts were served that time.
Hopefully there are more choices when we revisiting again.

Before buying my first DSLR, I knew that I will have to spend bucks on the camera accessories. lol.
Recently, I bought a used flashgun, Vivitar DF 400 MZ brand with two free diffusers. lol, taking picture in dark place is more easier now. The flash is quite new as the owner has the original Sony F56 flashgun to use. This was just a backup flash for himself.
I managed to take few photos. Please don't mind the photo quality ya as I adjusted the size, so the quality a bit chao liao.
My bro's A350 with my Vivitar flash. It came with the flash itself, box, 2 free diffusers.
The flash itself has reflecting plate and diffuser too.
So, it's pretty handy actually.
Lol look manual a bit but doesn't matter. It can be used as slave flash, kind of wireless flash thingy.
Bought these all at RM350 plus postage fee which I think quite reasonable lah. I will make full use of it. As Dan Khoo said, cheap thing doesn't mean bad quality nor does expensive thing mean good quality.A cash advance made the purchase possible

After disappearing from blogging, I am back to you guys again. I truly feel good because..
1) I started to exercise after inspired by Jojo's Health Buzz show.
2) Cleaned up my messy room. I can't see my room in any mess.
3) Added 512MB RAM into laptop and I can feel turbo right now. 30% increment of speed:)
4) Got one Konica Minolta 50mm f/1.7 which I will show you later.
5) I can see my dear although less than 30 minutes. Must stay strong, LDR isn't easy.
6) Changed a brand new theme for my blog. Kinda like it, the loading speed is faster without the header image now. Feel free to comment k!
7) Had hair cut. Lol feel lighter. It's very 'heavy' with long hair.

Mother who does exceptional roles are mother who envisioning and prophesying to their children, cheerleader for children in time of need, role model to many people besides their children, tower of strength and more more more...

Simple gifts for mothers. They worth more than that. Salute them!

As usual, I have this habit where I will pump petrol when the petrol in the tank almost finish. I got to refill it to avoid enjin mati at the middle of the road. Furthermore, traffic was so jammed due to the celebration of Wesak's day.
This is what I noticed for the first time hehehe the price dropped from RM1.92 to RM1.80.
Eh, when the petrol price gone up, you kao pei(bugged) the government. So, now should you be thankful instead? Heh!

I got my hands on my cousin's newly bought Nokia E63. Thus, I thought of sharing with my fellow friends here.
Nokia E63 is one of the E series(business class) phone. It comes after Nokia E61, E61i, E62, E65, E66, E71, E51, E51i and more. This is the cheapest E series phone so far. It has 2 colors which are blue and red. It weights 126g with high quality of 2.36" TFT 16M colors display. The display really fabulous. Besides that, don't cheated by the picture. It's really a small and pretty phone which I never expect. :)
Basically, it has WiFi, bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, user-friendly Mode Switch for swapping two homescreen setups, office document editor, Real One Player and Music player. You can install additional applications and games too. It takes longer time to install them than on other Symbian phones. So far, I've installed MSN Messenger, Worldmate and so one, all work like charm.
Inside the box, there are the Nokia E63 body, headphone, manual book and charger. Sadly, there is no included USB cable, this means you have to buy one or really troublesome in connecting PC to your mobile phone.
This is the front look. I personally think the Qwerty keyboard is totally useful. It's easy to press and fit my fingers. Did you notice there's no 3G front camera there? Yes, it doesn't have but I don't think it matters much.
This is the rear look. I must say simple is the best. I like its simple design. The drawback is there is no lens cap and it will easily get scratched.
I don't quite satisfied with the camera performance even though it has 2 megapixels camera with flash. The flash is useless at all, it doesn't help much but make worse the picture outcome.
Overall, it's a good phone. You can actually expect more at its price RM850++. If you wanna own a smart phone which has fast speed, go for this. In fact, I was the one who recommended my cousin to get this lol. I got one for my girlfriend too to replace the awkward O2 Stealth.

This is another charming compact camera which I found on the net. I make sure I will get one when I have money. :)
It looks classic like any Leica camera. The best thing is it has F/2.0 and 24mm wide Leica lens. I trust Leica quality as I own one impressive Lumix camera too.

You have heard of Chocolate shake, Expresso, Mocha, Coffee or whatever shake? But I bet not everyone knows the existence of Coconut Milk Shake. It has became another special drink from Melaka.
I really impressed of the innovation of the malay seller. Basically, he blends the Coconut and top it with Vanilla ice cream. You can see long queue most of the time and I heard there are lots of tourists patronize too.

Every now and then, you can see lots of '1Malaysia' appear on newspapers, television, blog and so on. To be honest, I applause to our current PM for this concept which I like the most and it's my prayer to see 1Malaysia to become realistic and achieveable.
It's always easier to say than fulfilling it. As a Malaysian,I would like to suggest few ways to make it achieveable.
Firstly, Malaysians need to acknowledge this is something that can draw us closer to each other despite what family or religion backgrounds we from. Let us throw away racism or negative mindset within us. We need to learn understanding, tolerance, mutual respect, humility and forgiveness towards one another. No any sensitive issue to be carried out.
Secondly, there must be equality in every decision making. I suggest everyone has the equality in business opportunity realm and no any quota to seize the advantage for any party. For instance, law must be applied regardless of creed, color and skin. Those who do business at the road side must be fined. My friend's parent was fined by the authority due to doing business on the roadside. While at the same time, there's others who did business but no kena fined. Hmmmm?
Thirdly, I support program National Service. This is really a good program for youths today. Out of 100 youngsters, 90 of them agreed they had fun and really don't wish to leave their friends. They learn to live together. Very good, one of the best implementation from Government.
I always believe significant tasks must be done before you wish to get the harvest. I am a peacemaker person and strongly support 1Malaysia concept. I don't wish Malaysia falling apart. Definitely not my wish.
