Penanti 本南地 seat by-election has become hot topic today after the Penang former Deputy CM quit his job. As Susan loone said, Penanti is wait-er in Bahasa Malaysia.So who gonna replace him as the assemblyman for Penanti seat? Who is the 'waiter'?
Needless to say, whoever becomes that doesn't matter anymore as long he/she does the job decently. All I know there will be lots of 'shows' coming soon. Hope rakyat will not be deceived and vote wisely.
However, all I concern is not who is the winner but one thing the costs. Let say there is at least RM 30k spent for the by election. Logically,by election will be carried out if the MP/assemblyman passed away or step down. What if there are 20 assemblemen/ MPs wanna step down and how much needed to allocate for those campaigns? Can see the whole picture, all these for me personally are just a waste of money. Rakyat's money.
You and I notice there are many erections this year. As such, I suggest government should find the best way to solve this problem, might sound irrelevant for certain people especially veteran politicians, 'what is this kids talking about', but let's see it at long term.
I am too free nothing to do, just thought of this.
