Ma, give me RM50 to spend please. I wanna go out to have fun with friends. If you don't give me, I will have cold war with you.
How many of you actually do that to your parents? Will you feel shy after doing so?
My answer is yes I am. If you still feel happy taking money from them and spend whatever you want, you should reconsider! I am no longer a little kids and 20% of my legs is in grave already. Choy* I don't literally mean that wokay, I mean I am big enough shouldn't react like a kids today. Seriously, I feel shy every time I need to get money from parents. I should be the one to earn money for them and letting them as they are aging.
My dad use to share with me his story. Back then, in the age of 17, he had to work as my grandpa met an accident which caused him half of his left leg gone. Till 20s, he started his own business and married with the most beautiful girl in his life-my mom. What have I done in my 2os, I am still sleeping till 10.30 am, watching TV but I am better than anyone of you heh, I help him in kitchen and blogging to earn some side incomes. I look forward to sharing with you guys online income I made so far.
Pathetically, I have seen youngsters nowadays can enjoy their life like no sorrow for family one. What's more got girlfriend but parents pay for the fees, agree?
Some studies even to overseas but working income is only enough for himself only. Dad doesn't complain about it and he told me no need to give him money if I started working but keep it for future use and family. He understands the current economy downturn la.
Throw back the question to you, will you feel paisei(shy) to take money from parents next time? Still you wanna get more from mommy daddy?

you're big enough to stand on your own. depends on the situation, if it's inevitable, I won't but if it's my own wrong doings, I better think twice.
i dont mind asking money from parents.. think they trust me.. haha =P
depends... but i'm going to earn my own money for sure this time
Sure paiseh la...Mike. But I never ask them for money for a long time already. They give me without me asking...sometimes I feel pai seh lo...
Actually, I still do.. lol!
I mean, sometimes when I don't have cash with me.. So I have to ask and I'd return them back the same day or the next day. But literally, they don't support me anymore and I don't ask for their support.. I'm old enough to support my own (thx to my savings) and to give some to them (if i'm working). ;P
I understand the flow of money in my family, I mean the financial status of my parents. All I need to do is to ask at the right time. haha...xD
