You're not just going to place the ads into your blog without knowing how it works. Alright, are you ready to earn with Nuffnang? :)
Firstly, please make sure you don't serve any other SEA(South East Asia ads) such as Advertlets. This will cost you to sacrifice your Gliterrati membership. Your earning will be very low and your chance to get buffered CPC campaign will be lesser. Anyhow, I will keep encouraging you to serve Nuffnang ads.
Secondly, do understand what are the meaning of CPC ( Cost Per Click ) and CPM ( Cost Per Impression ). I assume of you understand what is the meaning of CPC. Therefore, let's skip to CPM. CPC campaign - What you earn depends on the number of Average Unique visitors you received in the week that the ad campaign is built. No matter how low your traffic is, you'll still earn money.
If I'm not mistaken, Nuffnang only pay you unique visitors from Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Australia. Do correct me if I'm wrong :)
Besides that, another thing you have to understand ads preference. Ads Preference refers to how will you want your Nuffnang ad units to look like before you’re assigned a paid campaign by our advertisers. There are a few options such as Minimize Ads, Show Charity Ads, Show Default Ads, Show Global CPC Ads.
- Minimize Ads will minimize your ad units to only show a Nuffnang logo or caption to reduce load time in your blog and the server while waiting for paid campaigns.
- Show Charity Ads will enable your ad unit to show non paying ads that seek to promote various humanitarian causes such as adopt a puppy, blood donation or any community project that Nuffnang is working on for that period of time.
- Show Default Ads will enable your ad units to show non paying ads that seek to promote the awareness of Nuffnang as the first Asia Pacific’s blog advertising community.
- Show Global CPC Ads will enable your ad units to show CPC ads for CPC campaigns that is running by our advertisers’ request. This will enable you to earn while waiting for CPM campaigns by our advertisers. If there are not CPC campaigns ongoing for a particular ad unit, it will be minimized to reduce load time of your blog and our server.

But how come when I change the link, I in turned get no more CPM ads liao! & my visitors rate is more than 20 daily.

I think there's a misinterpretation of information here.
Campaigns are tailored according to the advertisers' needs and audience. For example, take DiGi, Maxis or Celcom, if they run a banner campaign, they will want it to be geolocated, which means only visible for Malaysians because they don't spend money to advertise for audience outside the country that will not use their service at all because their services are only in Malaysia. That being said, for the campaign that requires geo targeting, bloggers will be paid for only local visitors who saw the ad.
If the advertiser is a worldwide brand (normally movies, FMCG, etc), then there are campaigns that will pay for all visitors who saw the ads. For example, Global CPC ads pays whenever a visitor from anywhere in the world click on the ad unit that shows it.
So it's a misconception that Nuffnang only pays for traffic from 4 countries. It is tailored according to advertisers' requests.
